Riding in a 2004 Ford Ranger (petrol) still fitted from factory with a carburettor gives me quite an odd feeling. Things that we only see in South Africa...

Getting a replacement carburator now is pretty hard in most parts of the world, some people are even having to adapt motorcycle carburators into their old faithful compact cars. I have been looking for a carburator to a Brazilian Ford Maverick and for the cost of a NOS one I would have been able to convert it to electronic injection.

I know how it is, I once saw a Honda TMX155 carburettor into a Volkswagen Beetle.
