Only in the Philippines we can find a Chevy Tahoe roaming around with a 4JB1 and a manual gearbox to replace a boat-anchor petrol V8 and a slushbox. No speed king anymore, but still runs good and the fuel cost is decreased without the safety harm of LPG.

Not only in the Philippines one can find a Tahoe with a diesel engine smaller than the boat-anchor Detoilet, the ones briefly made in Argentina could have the same 4.2L inline-6 MWM used in the Ford F250 made in Brazil for Australia alongside the 4.1L Stovebolt inline-6 gasser. About the Isuzu, I have also seen a Tahoe repowered with a 4JG2 out of a wrecked Isuzu Trooper in Chile.
